FN America
E-Commerce Overhaul & Revitalization (Spring 2015)
As a Design Technology Consultant, D.B. partnered with JAM’D Studios to resolve a critical crisis for Line of Fire Tactical, an Orange County-based company owned by army combat veterans, and their international partner, FNH.
Tasked with managing the U.S. online storefront for FN America, including stock keeping, order fulfillment, design, and marketing, the team faced a failing, outdated .NET e-commerce platform. Severe mobile responsiveness issues led to Google Search penalties, a flood of customer support requests, and lost sales. The overwhelmed staff, sidelined by a backlog of support issues, strained relations with team members, stakeholders, and the marketplace.
Stepping in with strategic clarity, D.B. alleviated staff burdens, communicated critical requirements, and implemented countermeasures to stabilize operations. In just 10 weeks, he led the transition to a modern, mobile-responsive e-commerce solution, empowering the team to efficiently manage orders and promotions.
